Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between 630nm and 850nm?

The two wavelengths serve distinct purposes based on penetration depth and biological effects:

  • 630nm (Red Light):
  1. enetrates skin surface (1-5mm)
  2. Targets collagen production, acne, and skin repair.
  • 850nm (Near-Infrared)
  1. Reaches deep tissue (up to 10cm)
  2. Reduces inflammation, eases muscle/joint pain, and speeds recovery.

Why combine both?
Our FDA-cleared devices use 630nm + 850nm to treat surface concerns (wrinkles, redness) and deeper issues (chronic pain, stiffness) simultaneously—ensuring full-body relief and rejuvenation.

What’s your 30-day free trial policy?

If you’re not completely satisfied with the results after 30 days of continuous treatment, we will offer you a refund or further guidance.

All we ask is that you use the Lumaflex 10-20 times per week for 10-20 minutes per day over 4 weeks. If there is still no improvement, we will provide you with a refund.

How long does a treatment take?

For optimal results, we recommend using the red light therapy device for 10 to 20 minutes each day, depending on the specific issue being treated. Consistency is essential; therefore, performing a short daily treatment will be more effective than longer sessions done less frequently.

Can I use this LED red light therapy machine on any part of my body?

The Lumaflex can be used on any part of the body. Additionally, we are currently designing more strap options to target those hard-to-reach places.

What kind of pain can photobiomodulation help with?

How does the Lumaflex work?

Our red light therapy devices work by stimulating blood flow and energy production (ATP) in the cells of the targeted area.

This reduces pain and inflammation and triggers the healing process to help damaged tissues repair themselves.

The main difference between skin contact devices and red LED light therapy machines is that the skin contact devices use lasers to penetrate deeper into the joint, with accurate dosing to achieve more effective results.
